So I'm weeks behind the actual start, but as the show only aired episode 1 last week I feel like I'm right on track for Canada.
I finished clue 1 today.
Below is a spoiler. Clue 1 finished.

So my package for the name your theme box arrived. My theme was Dr who.
I got a package of Werther's candies, a good sized zippered tardis themed project bag and coin pouch. Some blue and white stitch markers. Some fantastic blue and white rovings. As well as a hand made charm that looks a lot like the 11th doctor.
I'm thrilled with everything.
We did another round of smitten swaps. I had my first one sent out before anyone else in the group which is a first for me. My other 2 went out a few days later. None of them have arrived yet, but I haven't had one not arrive. Waiting for mine to arrive and then I can take a new photo with 3 new smittens. If we do more swaps my goal is to have at least 21 of them this year.
The first smitten arrived from the UK!
So I have had this sock loom for several years. Shortly after getting it I watched the video and tried to start my first project on it. I never got past the second row. The video was too complicated to follow.
Thankfully I have found a great loom knitting group on Ravelry. So this priject that has sat for about 4 years may be coming off the loom and getting a fresh start.
So I just recieved my box of colour swap package. It came from another knitter on ravelry, Knitty78. Photos below of all the awesome items.
So I decided that instead of purchasing project bags (as I always have several knitting projects on the go) that I would use up some of my non Society For Creative Anachronism fabric into project bags. First I had to hunt down a suitable pattern. Next pick what fabric I wanted to start with. Next make a pattern modification.... and now cut and sew.
