Knitting Progress

I don't know about other knitters but I'm finding as of late I have issues staying focused on one project. Or that I have too many I want to work on, and can't get anything done. I joined the Game Of Thrones Knit Along on Ravelry back in June. I'm on clue 4 of 6. Well behind most who finished in June. I have several pairs of socks on the go, but at least hubbies are almost done. I was gifted a loom for knitting socks several years ago. I took everything off the loom sure i was doing it wrong and got restarted with help from a loom knitter on Ravelry. After 2 weeks I'm at least ready to knit the body of the sock. The 10 row cuff is done and I just have to mark out the purl stitches. Now I've gone and joined the Outlander Knit Along. I don't have the pattern or yarn yet, and will likely not start for a few weeks. I also have two knitting swap packages to get together and out the door. One must go by the end of next week and the other by the end of the month. Just need to wait till pay day so that I can manage to get a few more items (like the yarn for the one package) and finish up some hand made items for them. Can't leave too many details about the swap.... at least not till they get their packages. So other knitters, I ask you. How do you stay focused till the end on a project? Especially if its one you want to finish and not just frog it.
